I spent two years and an obscene amount of money turning a dilapidated 964 into the water-cooled thing of beauty you see above, then sold it when I moved to California just as the market for them took off like a rocket. Shoulda woulda coulda.

My main focus was on great handling and driveability rather than outright performance so the mods were quite limited. Bilstein suspension, RS motor mounts, and anti-roll bars, that kind of stuff, along with the obligatory G-pipe to free up the exhaust note a little. I say a little, you could hear the thing from space.

Most of the money went on a full engine rebuild, bodywork, cosmetic touches like the cup wheels and mirrors, a re-trimmed interior and replacing the speakers with something that could be heard above the exhaust.
