Requirements Documentation

Old habits die hard. Having spent twenty years in design — especially websites and software — the natural starting point for me with this project was to start noting requirements down in obvious categories — security, HVAC, ambiance, sleeping, kitchen etc.

These have served as a useful reminder to refer back to. It's very easy to miss something which is why writing them down is such an important exercise. Not the sexiest or most exciting job. Mind you I don't think there are any of those on this project.
